Provide support, configuration and maintenance of local area networks, operating systems, application software and hardware in accordance with Scripps IT policies and procedures. WHAT YOU'LL DO: • Provide desktop support for local users to include workstations, laptops, printers, and copiers. • Gather feedback from end users regarding system performance. • Provide effective levels of support and guidance to employees regarding the use of systems and technologies available on network. • Provide advice and technical training to users. • Maintain voice, data, and video systems. • Notify appropriate management when users or organization is negatively impacted by voice, data, or video systems issues and recommend possible solutions. • Research and evaluate new technologies, make recommendations as required. • Keep current with technology development, trends, and regulations to ensure effectiveness and compliance. • Respond to technology requests and issues in a timely manner. WHAT YOU'LL NEED: • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field; or equivalent experience. • 2-5 years of general IT experience. • Basic knowledge of networks, business and publishing systems and production systems. WHAT YOU'LL BRING: • Ability to work within a team environment. • Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical materials. • Ability to work independently with moderate supervision.
